"Soma/Homa" portrays the everyday lives of young people in a small town in northern Iran in a student flatshare, depicting their struggles, aspirations, and communal existence under state Repression. Blending elements of documentary and experimental film, the movie occupies a space at the intersection of reality and artistic exploration. "Soma/Homa" offers a glimpse into the complexities of life in a provincial setting, exploring themes of limitation, challenge, illusion, and personal and collective identity.
