Plot
Inspired by the legend of Gog and Magog and in dialogue with Sadegh Hedayat’s Afarinegan (1933), the film reimagines the apocalyptic myth through two girls. Echoing Hedayat’s ironic reflection on apocalypse and the afterlife, it drifts between dream and prophecy. A meditation on endings and beginnings, the film evokes an ancient fear that continues to haunt the human imagination.
